This journey was first inspired by my family and the stories about their experiences that I heard growing up. More recently, this passion was reignited after a Mexican American Civil Rights in Texas bus tour that I co-led and the student conference panel that followed that same year.
Our first project focuses on our bus tour experience in San Antonio, Texas. Please see the example products above to see how to share in this experience. In the future, we plan to expand our explorations to other geographic locations and groups whose histories are often left out of the traditional history narrative.
